Safe Routes to School in Kona & Hamakua!

The Honoka’a Elementary, Honaunau and Kealakehe Elementary school communities have started their own Safe Routes to School Programs! This represents over 1,500 students and their families. PATH will be working with these schools over the next several months to improve traffic safety and find ways for more students to walk or bike to school safely. If you are interested in getting involved in these exciting programs, please email Laura at laura.

MORE Than Sport to Help PATH, Kona Kids

The Big Island left a big impression on professional triathlete Chris Lieto during he and his family’s 8 month stay this past Winter and Spring. So much so, that when the Lieto family returns to Kona in September it will be for good – and in more ways than one. Lieto and his family are putting down roots but also putting together an incredible fundraising effort with More Than Sport to raise money for three important Kona charities: the YMCA, Kona Hospital and PATH!

Chris will be joined by 14 Big Island Ironman athletes who are racing and raising money for these Kona charities too!

You can be a part of this exciting effort in so many ways!
